  Standards-based curriculum

intelitek was established in 1996 by Eshed Robotec and Light Machines. The extensive synergies of their products and services had already brought the two companies together for over a decade, providing solutions for education and training in automation and manufacturing technologies. In November of 2000 Eshed Robotec acquired Light Machines and merged operations of the two companies under the name of intelitek.

intelitek’s product line now spans an extensive range of technology training systems and curricula, including CNC machining, CAD and CAM, hydraulics and pneumatics, programmable controllers (PLC), process control, data acquisition, sensors, robotics, machine vision and more. The company also develops and markets integrated and customized packages, ranging from small-scale flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) to complete computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) systems for training and education.

intelitek’s TEAM program is a comprehensive and effective solution for preparing students for careers in engineering, manufacturing and industry. With its commitment to providing the highest quality equipment and instructional material, intelitek adds depth to the TEAM program with equipment from Eshed Robotec and Light Machines as well as other leading manufacturers, such as Autodesk, NIDA Corporation, CNC Software, TII Systems, Unilab, Merlan Scientific and C.R. Clarke.

intelitek’s products and systems serve students from middle schools to graduate level university programs, from research institutes to industrial training facilities. They are used in vocational schools and technical colleges for training in the design, operation and maintenance of industrial equipment. They are also meeting the increasing needs of general academic schools as technology education becomes a part of the core curriculum.
